Remember that the best beer is always the one you made yourself. |
U-Brew offers:
- Extract beer brewing
- Premium all grain NO boil kits
Designed exclusively for those with a taste for micro-brewed beers, Brew House beer kits have made quality home brewing simple, and the result is truly satisfying.
Our Brew House Kit produces all-grain craft-style beer in the same way as commercial craft breweries. We use 100% malted barley with no additives or malt extracts to bring you the fresh and pure flavour of “true-to-style” all-grain beer. The grains are carefully cracked and gently steeped to draw out the sweet wort (pronounced wurt).
The resulting wort is boiled with the choicest hops and immediately aseptically packaged to preserve its fresh grainy flavours. With no boiling – just stirring and careful racking – The brew House will produce great beer with delicious aromas and flavours in just a few short weeks! Makes 58 - 60 bottles.
- True Brew kits come with all ingredients, including caps, to make a customized craft brew in 5 easy steps:
Step 1: Preparation
You’ll gather all materials together, clean and sanitize all equipment.
Step 2: The Brew!
Ingredients are combined in boiling water, then transferred to a fermentation vessel with more water. Pitch yeast and your brew has begun! Fermentation will begin within 24 hours and continue for several days. Allow several more days for settling, and you’re ready to bottle!
Step 3: The Transfer
After 3-4 days, transfer beer from primary fermentation vessel to a glass carboy. This step is called '2-Stage Fermentation' and takes 1-2 weeks.
Step 4: Bottling
Following the fermentation period, beer is siphoned into a bottling bucket, sugar for carbonation is added, the beer is transferred into sanitized bottles, and the bottles are capped. Makes 48-51 bottles.
Step 5: Aging
In about 2 or 3 weeks, you’ll have clear beer. It lends itself to sampling sooner, but extended aging improves quality and balance in a home-brewed beer.
